Chris grew up in an Air Force family, daughter of an A&P mechanic. She attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management. Upon graduation, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Micronesia, working with small business owners in developing inventory and accounting systems. Upon returning home, she earned an MBA at ERAU and remains actively involved with her alma mater through advocacy for the Charles E. Otis Endowed Scholarship.
Chris joined OGARAJETS in 1990. She has served in varying roles over the past 30 years, including market research, database management, advertising and client development. Her current area of responsibility is project management, with a focus on client satisfaction and team efficiency. She is a self-described multi-tasker, results-driven, and stickler for the details.
Chris has served on the board of the Georgia Business Aviation Association (GBAA). As chairman of the organization’s Scholarship Committee, she implemented the GBAA’s mentoring program, matching scholarship students with members working in professions that sync with the students’ chosen academic disciplines and career aspirations. The program fosters the development of lasting professional relationships between this and the next generation of leaders, sharing ideas, life experiences, career strategies and emerging technologies.
Chris also served on the NBAA-Atlanta local planning committee, and was actively involved in coordinating the organization’s Careers In Business Aviation Day, designed to expand career opportunity awareness to high school and college students interested in a career in aviation. She was also an integral part of the NBAA Boys & Girls Club community service project.
Chris is married to Garrett Ison, Quality Program Manager for Delta Air Lines.
