Michelle grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and graduated from Lewis University, a private school with a strong aviation program. While there, she competed on the university’s flight team for both regional and national competitions with her skills using a manual E6B. Michelle gained additional experience at Chicago O’Hare International Airport working for the Irish airline, Aer Lingus, and for Signature Flight Support, as a Ramp Tower Controller. Michelle moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to take a position with Preston Aviation Solutions, a Boeing Company. At Preston, Michelle coordinated marketing efforts for Preston’s simulation software that is used by airports and airlines worldwide. Michelle joined O’Gara Aviation Company in 2005. Her responsibilities include the marketing and advertising efforts for O’Gara Aviation’s wide variety of aircraft in inventory. During her free time Michelle enjoys days at the dog park with her dog, Remington, and watching airplanes land at local airports with her husband, Doug. |
