Johnny grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Colorado State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing in 1991. Upon graduation, he joined O'Gara Aviation Company, the business his father founded in 1980 and was appointed President in 2005. During his tenure, the company has owned, operated, and sold more than $2 billion dollars worth of business aircraft. Aside from his operations at O'Gara Aviation Company, Johnny serves on various trade committees with the National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA), and also holds a board position with the Georgia Business Aviation Association (GBAA). Johnny is married to Laura Boone Foster, a lifelong friend. They have three children. Johnny is an avid golfer, and enjoys many other outdoor activities. He and his family are actively involved in their church and with many civic organizations. |
